There is no shortage of love at the Senatobia Animal Hospital. 
For years, they’ve been more than just veterinarians to us—they’ve been partners in rescue, healers of the broken, and cheerleaders for every second chance story. Each time we walk through their doors with one of our rescues, we know we’re bringing them into a place of kindness, patience, and expert care.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a frail senior dog needing extra attention, a litter of abandoned puppies with bellies full of worms, or an injured stray pulled from the streets—every single one is treated like royalty. The staff doesn’t see them as “just rescues.” They see them as family.

And at the heart of it all is Dr. Lisa. Nobody, and we mean nobody, loves puppy breath more than she does. Watching her scoop up the tiniest of our rescues, cuddling them close as though they’ve already found their forever home, reminds us why this work is possible. Her gentle touch and compassionate heart have carried so many of our animals through their first scary days of recovery.
The truth is, behind every adoption photo, every wagging tail, every happy “Gotcha Day,” there are quiet heroes working behind the scenes—people like Dr. Lisa and her team. They mend broken bodies, soothe frightened hearts, and give our rescues the medical care they need to step into their new lives.
We couldn’t do what we do without them. And every time we see a once-sick puppy bouncing across the floor, or a senior dog finally finding comfort in their final years, we’re reminded that this is a team effort—rescuers, fosters, adopters, and the incredible staff at Senatobia Animal Hospital.

It started out as just another ordinary day at the store—customers coming and going, carts rattling over the tile floors, the hum of everyday life filling the aisles. But then, a moment unfolded that no one expected, one that reminded everyone watching of the simple beauty of kindness.
An elderly woman walked in that afternoon. She wasn’t frail, exactly, but she was light, and when she tried to use one of the motorized carts, it wouldn’t budge. No matter how many times she pressed the handle, the machine just sat there, refusing to move. A line began to form, other shoppers waiting with sympathetic smiles but no solution.
