The financial strain of her treatments and care was immense, but her rescue team never gave up. Their perseverance paid off when Maya began to heal, showing incredible strength and the ability to adapt to her new reality.
Her story took a beautiful turn when a compassionate family in Germany adopted her, understanding her needs and committing to her care.
