Surgical intervention on a dog weighing only 9 kg was a risky decision, but it was the only path forward if he was to have any hope of recovery.
With heavy hearts but determined resolve, they proceeded, and the outcome was unexpectedly positive. The damaged tissue was successfully removed, and he began his long journey to recovery.
He was fed regularly, and slowly, the dog regained his ability to walk. The antibiotics worked their magic, and soon, the pup was free from pain.
After three long months, he had finally healed. His weight returned to normal, and he looked absolutely incredible.
This was a moment of pure joy for the rescuers, who had held onto hope for his recovery all this time.
Chevelle’s Forever Home
