When rescuers responded to a call about a stray dog, they discovered an unusual situation. The caller explained that a homeless dog had bonded with his own and lingered around his property.
While the man tried to feed the dog as often as he could, it was clear that the animal needed more than just a meal.

To gain the dog’s trust, rescuers offered it some food and managed to carefully slip a leash around its neck, christening the friendly canine “Pax.”
Pax willingly allowed the team to pick him up and transport him to their vehicle, showing signs of relief at being rescued.
Upon arrival at the veterinary hospital, Pax was treated for several health issues including skin, ear, and eye infections, as well as mange and various open wounds.

He showed remarkable cooperation, patiently enduring the treatments, and even accepted a medicated bath to help soothe his irritated skin.
Thanks to the efforts of The Forgotten Dog Foundation, Pax soon found a caring forever home. His wounds have healed, and his fur has grown back beautifully, making him a healthy and happy dog.
Pax now enjoys life with a loving family, far removed from his days as a stray.
